No plans for Omang office in Thamaga

There are no immediate plans to establish an Omang office in Thamaga, Minister of Labour and Home Affairs, Ms Annah Mokgethi has told Parliament.
She said even though her ministry acknowledged the need for such an office to be opened in big villages such as Thamaga to bring services closer to the people, this could not be achieved due to financial constraints.
She noted that Thamaga residents were currently serviced from nearby offices in Molepolole and Moshupa.
However, she said the Molepolole office, which was supposed to visit Thamaga at least once a week, could not do so due to resource constraints.
Thamaga/Kumakwane MP, Mr Palelo Motaosane had asked the minister to state when she intended to establish an Omang office in Thamaga. Ends
