Track and field team competes at the Commonwealth Games today

Botswana’s track and field team will compete at the ongoing Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games today.

Long jumper, Thapelo Monaiwa will compete in the men’s long jump qualifying round this morning at 11am.

At 1.39 pm 100m runner Oarabile Tshosa will compete in heat four lane five.

Team Botswana Coach Justice Dipeba said the team had prepared well, and expectation was that they would qualify for the next rounds. Ends
