No plans to allocate residential plots in Dikabeya - minister

The Ministry of Lands and Water Affairs has no plans to allocate residential plots in Dikabeya near Palapye.
Responding to a question in Parliament, lands and water affairs minister Dr Kefentse Mzwinila explained that the reason was that Dikabeya had not been declared a settlement by government.
He said his ministry only allocated agricultural and farming plots in the Dikabeya area.
Palapye Member of Parliament, Mr Onneetse Ramogapi had wanted to know when residential plots would be allocated at Dikabeya as was the case with other settlements in other areas.
Mr Ramogapi also said Dikabeya had long been declared a settlement due to its population, mobile health clinic, some quality structural houses, commercial shop, a bar, kgotla and a borehole among other things. Ends
