The Mares back home

Ministry of Youth, Gender, Sport and Culture permanent secretary, Kitso Kemoeng (right) welcoming senior national women football team, The Mares, at Sir Seretse Khama International Airport in Gaborone on Tuesday. The team played against formidable sides such as South Africa, Nigeria, Morocco and Cameroon in the Women African Cup of Nations in Morocco. Botswana won their first game against Burundi 4-2. They lost against Nigeria 0-2, South Africa; 0-1, Morocco 1-2 while against Cameroon they lost 0-1.
