 Pandamatenga police are looking for a 39-year-old man suspected to have committed murder. 

In an interview with BOPA, Superintendent Nelson Museke said Onthusitse Mmile, commonly known as Inter, originally from Ratholo, was suspected to have murdered his 39-year-old girlfriend at Pandamatenga Farms on June 16.

He said according to the eye-witness account, on the fateful day the girlfriend was heard screaming for help and when the witness heeded the call, she found the victim in a pool of blood and the suspect fleeing the scene.

Superintendent Museke said the victim was certified dead on arrival at the hospital, while the suspect was still at large. 

He said the deceased and the suspect were lovers and had a child together, but their relationship was allegedly sour as earlier this month, a restraining order was issued against the suspect to prevent him from visiting the girlfriend.

He appealed to the public to always seek guidance and counselling on issues of relationship instead of resorting to violence. BOPA
