Orange FA Cup top goal scorers, Monty Enosa of Eleven Angels and Thato Ogopotse of Security Systems have snatched the golden boat award after scoring five goals apiece.

Other than sharing the top goal scorer honours and walking away with P25 000 and a trophy each, Ogopotse emerged as the most decorated player after taking the player of the tournament award worth P40 000 and a trophy.

Ogopotse also received a silver medal as his team finished as runners-up in the cup. 

Enosa, whose club was knocked out of the cup, waited with bated breath as Ogopotse was on the pitch in the final trying to increase his goal tally. However, it was not a day off for Enosa as he was equally engaged in Francistown in a do or die encounter in the last leg of the promotional play-offs against Mochudi Centre Chiefs.

He led his team to a maiden promotion to the elite league.

As the referee, Keabetswe Dintwa, blew the final whistle to end the FA Cup final match in Gaborone, Enosa was confirmed as the joint top goal scorer.

Meanwhile, Gaborone United goalkeeper, Ookeditse Semelamela also walked away with the honours of goalkeeper of the tournament and he received P25 000 and a trophy while his coach, Innocent Morapedi, was also rewarded for guiding the team to successfully defend the cup, getting P10 000 and a trophy.

As for the cup officials, Thabang Ketshabile won P10 000 and a trophy as referee of the tournament while Thuto Maswabi was selected as the assistant referee of the tournament receiving the same honours as his counterpart. ENDS
