Cabinet retreat commences today
14 Jun 2022
A four-day cabinet retreat is set to commence here this morning presided over by President Dr Mokgweetsi Masisi.
Held annually, the event brings together members of cabinet and senior public officers.
This year’s retreat is the first after the one which adopted the Reset Agenda and is expected to reflect on the major milestones achieved thus far.
Government spokesperson Mr John-Thomas Dipowe confirmed that the retreat was the first since the introduction of the Reset Agenda and rationalisation of ministries.
The event, he said, would give the attendees an opportunity to reflect on achievements and challenges and come up with creative solutions to better the lives of Batswana.
“We will have an opportunity to see what needs to be done to ensure effective implementation of the agenda,” he said.
The Reset Agenda is aimed at improving service delivery and is a call to doing business differently and better. BOPA
