Police recover Drowned Man's Body

Police in Mochudi have recovered the body of a 45-year-old man of Dikgonnye, who drowned at Somanka Dam on Saturday during a fishing expedition.
The deceased, Mr Kgosietsile Mooketsi, was in the company of a friend who was fishing by the dam bank, while the deceased used a canoe to traverse the water.
Mochudi Police Station commander, Superintendent Smash Mokoba said the body was recovered past mid-day Wednesday.
Police scuba divers started the search Sunday.
Next of kin have been notified and the body is at Deborah Retief Hospital Mortuary awaiting post-mortem. Ends
