Three projects under the Economic Stimulus Programme in the Okavango Sub-district are almost complete

This was announced by Okavango Sub-district Council chairperson, Mr Mpoke Karapo at the ongoing sub-council meeting.

He said the projects included the construction of five classrooms, ablution blocks and staff houses in eight schools in the sub-district.

He noted that the projects at Etsha 1, Shamombo Koshonya and Etsha 13 were almost complete and under the defects liability period.

He said the other projects at Samochima, Kajaja, Kathiana, Shakawe and Mohembo were at different construction stages.

Mr Karapo also said the sub-district was awarded over P3 million to maintain four primary schools in Beetsha, Etsha 6, Gunotsoga and Tlhale.

He noted that three out of the four projects were complete and at defects liability stage.

The remaining project, he said, was at an advanced completion stage. ENDS
