Kazungula police are investigating an incident in which a 32 old woman of Lesoma was certified dead on arrival at Kasane Hospital following an accident in the early hours of Saturday.

According to Superintendent Phetogo Phillimon it is suspected that a Toyota RunX with four occupants hit a truck that had a breakdown along the A33 road around 3am on April 23.

He said another female passenger was admitted at Kasane Primary Hospital with serious injuries, a male occupant who sustained serious injuries was referred to Nyangabgwe Referral Hospital while the driver was treated and released the same day.

Supt Phillimon said the RunX was travelling from Pandamatenga at the time of the accident. 

He appealed to motorist using Pandamatenga/Kazungula road to be vigilant at all times as it was had wild animals and had long grass that could be an obstruction to drivers. BOPA
