Mindset change key - CEO

28 Feb 2022

Residents of D’kar have been implored to develop a never-quit mindset amid the prevailing difficult circumstances.

Vision 2036 Coordinating Agency chief executive officer Mr Christopher Molomo said this in reaction to D’kar residents’ concerns during a kgotla meeting in the village recently.

The residents had bemoaned predicaments of landlessness, lack of potable water and water for livestock saying for them prosperity remained a mirage.

Mr Molomo urged them not to despair but rather develop a positive mindset while waiting for government to address their challenges.

Residents were also advised to have a meaningful contribution to the achievement of Vision 2036 ideals at household level.

Mr Molomo however promised to escalate residents’ concerns to the relevant authorities.

One resident, Mr James Morris had stated that prosperity would remain a pipe dream for D’kar residents because they had no land.

Other residents attributed the state of affairs in the village to lack of water for both human and livestock consumption. Ends
