Consultation on boundary dispute ongoing
14 Feb 2022
Consultation on Maitengwe and Nkange bogosi boundary issues kicked off on February 12.
Assistant Minister of Local Government and Rural Development Ms Talitha Monnakgotla said government was in the process of mediating and resolving dispute.
Ms Monnakgotla told Parliament on Friday that she was aware of the Dagwi and Changate Village boundary disputes.
The assistant minister said the matter had taken long to address as a result of the COVID-19 protocols, which prohibited mass gatherings as consultations could not be undertaken.
She was answering a question asked Nkange MP, Dr Never Tshabang, who had wanted to know if the assistant minister was aware of the Dagwi and Changate villages boundary disputes and when she intended resolving the matter. ENDs
