Body of BDF soldier arrives from Mozambique

The remains of a member of Botswana Defence Force (BDF) who died on February 9 in Mueda, Cabo Delgado Province in Mozambique arrived at Sir Seretse Khama International airport on Friday.
Sergeant Gosekwang Ngaka’s remains were received by Minister of Defence, Justice and Security, Mr Kagiso Mmusi and Minister of Foreign Affairs and international Relations Mr Lemogang Kwape as well as members of the bereaved family
Sergeant Ngaka was part of the second Botswana contingent deployed under the auspices of SADC, for the regional support to Mozambique to combat the threat of terrorism and acts of violence as an element of the SADC mission in Mozambique.
Investigations into the cause of death are on going. ENDS
