Gaborone District Health Management Team assistant nursing officer, Ms Oduetse Nkwane administering COVID-19 booster shot to 89-year-old Ms Esther Madisa in Gaborone yesterday.
Ministry of Health and Wellness acting chief public relations officer Ms Shirley Mukamambo says members of the public are encouraged to take the booster shot as it increases immunity and in case of infection, reduces chances of suffering severe symptoms that may lead to hospitalization or even death.
