The 8th meeting of the 4th Ntlo Ya Dikgosi scheduled for January 17- 28 commences today.

Ntlo Ya Dikgosi chairperson, Kgosi Puso Gaborone told a media briefing that the house was forced to converge virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

He said the session, which would be in two parts, would focus on administrative business in  the first week and move to house business the following week.

“The first session will deal with administrative issues, such as training of members on rules of procedure, legislative drafting and will also cater for presentations by the committee on constitutional review and the Competition Authority,” he said.

He said 77 questions would be asked while six motions were expected to be tabled.

Ntlo Ya Dikgosi was established as an advisory body to the National Assembly on issues of national interest following a 2005 constitutional review. Ends
