Riverwalk Management lauded for the spirit of botho

Gaborone, December 10, 2021 (BOPA): Riverwalk Management has been applauded for showing love and care to underprivileged families and children of Old Naledi by gifting them with food hampers for the festive season. 

Assistant Minister for Presidential Affairs, Governance and Public Administration, Mr Dumezweni Mthimkhulu said this during the annual  Christmas Carols organised by Riverwalk mall and its stakeholders. He said  that the kind-hearted spirit which they demonstrated every year was worth recognition.  
The minister said as the festive season advances, it was important for all to adhere to COVID-19 protocols to  curb the spread of the virus.

United Congregation Church of Southern Africa (UCCSA) representative Ms Sally Pillar said as the church choir  they have established the relationship with Riverwalk mall to collaborate in helping the needy during the festive season.

She said the Christmas carols were meant to remember the birth of Jesus Christ and to remember those who had nothing to enjoy and share with their families during the festive season.

She encouraged people to embrace the gospel of Christ as it united people and  healed the mind and soul. 
Every year, Riverwalk Management in conjunction with stores under their roof partner with UCCSA Broadhurst Choir, local musicians in the gospel industry and their customers to give to the underprivileged families.

This year through Gaborone South constituency, 10 families and fifteen children of Old Naledi were identified as beneficiaries. BOPA
