Dr Kwape attends Tanzania anniversary

Minister of International Affairs and Cooperation, Dr Lemogang Kwape will today to attend Tanzania's the 60th independence celebrations in Dar es Salaam .
A statement from the ministry says Dr Kwape will attend the celebrations on behalf of the President, Dr Mokgweetsi Masisi. The minister will be accompanied by the former president, Dr Festus Mogae.
The release says that Botswana and Tanzania continue to enjoy longstanding cordial relations and fruitful cooperation.
It says both countries played an instrumental role as founding members of the Front Line States that contributed towards the liberation of Southern Africa and the advent of democracy in the region.
The delegation will return to Gaborone on Friday.
