Consultations to fill five vacant posts for bogosi in Charleshill sub district are underway.

The sub district council chairperson, Mr Baduetse Setswalo informed the sub district council meeting on Tuesday that consultations to fill one post of sub chief in Karakubis, one post of headman of record in Ncojane and three posts of headmen of arbitration for Mogobe Ward in Charleshill, Gamoselebe Ward in Kalkfontein and Pudulogo Ward in Ncojane were ongoing.

Mr Setswalo wished that the posts would be filled soon, to improve service delivery and day-to-day duties of bogosi.

Regarding, Smartbots village connectivity projects, he informed the meeting that some customary courts within the sub district would get WI-FI connection, an effort towards achieving digital transformation.

He said the programme would run in phases with Charleshill, Makunda and Kalkfontein benefitting in phase one.

Mr Setswalo stated that connectivity for phase one was expected to be completed early March next year while commencement dates for phase two were yet to be determined. Ends
