World children's day celebrated in Kasane

Some primary schools pupils in a 4km march in Kasane on Friday as a build-up activity for World Children day to be commemorated today. Four Heads of states from SADC countries; Botswana, Namibia, Zambia and Zimbabwe are expected to attend today's the event. The commemoration is organized by UNICEF under the theme reimagining the future. World Children's Day is celebrated on November 20 annually to commemorate the signing of Declaration of the Rights of the Child by the UN General Assembly. Photo: Gaseitsiwe Moruakgomo
