No first dose vaccines in greater Gaborone

There is no first dose vaccinations in Greater Gaborone DHMT from yesterday.
A press release from the Ministry of Health and Wellness indicates that the greater Gaborone District Health Management Team (GGDHMT) depleted its batch of COVID-19 vaccine doses on Friday.
“The public will be notified when first dose vaccination resumes in the Greater Gaborone DHMT area,” says the release.
In addition, the media release notes that the drive-through vaccine campaign also came to an end on November 12 with around 9 000 people inoculated.
It further states that second dose vaccinations for Astrazeneca and Sinovac continues as scheduled in the vaccination cards.
The public is therefore advised to bring vaccination cards when coming for the jab. ENDS
