Taxi hits and kills a pedestrian

Ghanzi Police have arrested a 47-year-old taxi driver after the taxi he was driving allegedly struck and killed a pedestrian on Monday.
In an interview, Assistant superintendent Montsho Kgope of Ghanzi police said the fatal accident occurred around 11:15pm and the victim was certified dead Primary Hospital.
He said the deceased was still at the hospital mortuary and his identity was yet to be established.
He said the taxi driver, who hails from Kang, would be charged with causing death by dangerous driving. End
