Councillor encourages pupils to aim high

Standard Seven pupils at Ramokgwebana Primary School have been encouraged to aim for the stars and conduct themselves decently when they start at junior secondary.
Speaking during a donation ceremony for toiletries to Standard sevens on Friday October 29, Councillor for Ramokgwebana Ward, Mr Godfrey Smile said the gifts were a sign of love to them as future leaders.
Mr Smile advised pupils to avoid romantic relationships and concentrate on their studies.
He said this year had been a bad year because many lives were lost to COVID-19 which also adversely affected many economies.
The school head, Ms Bashaki Feledi applauded the teachers for moulding the pupils to be responsible.
She advised that they be careful when choosing friends adding that they should choose friends with positive attitude.
“Do what your teachers advise you to do and choose good career paths,” she said.
PTA chairperson, Mr Menton Tshware raised a concern of lack of transport.
He said teachers were forced to use public transport, to get supplies in Masunga. Ends
