Retshabile Pent Series competition manager

Former national netball team player, Thulaganyo Retshabile, has been appointed the Pent Series competition manager for the 2021 edition.
Six countries will be competing at the series in Namibia, which started on Monday, The series features Namibia, Kenya, Uganda, Zambia, Malawi and Zimbabwe.
Her roles include assessment and accreditation of the bench officials.
Retshabile is not new to big assignments as she was appointed competitions manager by the International Netball Federation during the Netball World Youth Cup hosted by Botswana.
She said she was honoured and humbled to have been appointed to officiate at the games since she would also gain more technical experience.
She added that Botswana netball would benefit from her experience more than other African countries
She said her role would also include providing technical advice and insuring that International Netball Federation (INF) rules, regulations, guidelines and requirements were complied with during the games.
“During Netball World Youth Cup I was accreditation as the INF technical delegate Africa and technical officials tutor, this shows that the legacy of the games still exist,” she said.
In 2014 Retshabile was netball technical coordinator during the Africa Youth Games. In 2016 she was the competitions manager for the Netball World Youth Cup African qualifiers. In 2017 she was the competitions manager for Netball Youth Cup and also Botswana Games netball convener.
In 2018 she was FISU games INF technical delegate and AUSC Region 5 Youth Games netball convener, while in 2019 she was African World Cup qualifiers INF technical delegate. Ends
