Road not included in NDP 11

Minister of Transport and Communications, Mr Thulagano Segokgo says the tarring of the Metsibotlhoko-Kudumelapye Road is not included in the current National Development Plan (NDP 11). Thus, Mr Segokgo said the ministry did not have funds for the project. However, he said the ministry would continue to maintain the road by grading it quarterly. The road, he added, was last graded on July 19-20. The minister was responding to a question asked by Takatokwane MP, Mr Tshoganetso Leuwe, who had wanted an update on the progress of tarring Metsibotlhoko-Khudumelapye Road. ENDs
