President Dr Mokgweetsi Masisi (centre) congratulating his Zambian counterpart Mr Hakainde Hichilema after being inaugurated as the country’s seventh president at Heroes Stadium in Lusaka yesterday. President Hichilema succeeds Mr Edgar Lungu. In his acceptance speech, Mr Hichilema said through his election, Zambia had shown the world the resilience of democracy and reaffirmed that power belonged to the people.
