Trio takes oath

President Dr Mokgweetsi Masisi yesterday swore in three newly-appointed senior government officials.
The three, Botswana’s first chief of staff Mr Boyce Sebetela, clerk of cabinet Ambassador John Moreti and assistant clerk of cabinet Ms Ntesang Molemele, took the oath of office during a cabinet session in Gaborone.
The main purpose of Mr Sebetela’s position is to direct and oversee implementation of national priorities in alignment with political pronouncements made by the President.
Prior to his appointment, Ambassador Moreti served as chief of protocol while Ms Molemele was assistant director in the in the Ministry of International Affairs and Cooperation’s Department of Africa and the Middle East. ends
