Botswana’s 400 metres trio of Amantle Montsho, Christine Botlogetswe and Galefele Moroko will start their Olympic competitions tomorrow morning.
Team coach, Justice Dipeba, said the trio was healthy and looking forward to the track, adding that they would like to see them going to the next round, just like their male counterparts. He said athletes had been working hard at training.
Track and field analyst, Lentswe Charles, said he expected a tough competition especially that some runners were already in their peak time of the season.
Charles said there was need for the athletes to stick to their race plans, adding that their fitness levels would determine their times. Ends
