President Masisi congratulates Amos

President Dr Mokgweetsi Masisi has congratulated Botswana’s Olympic medal prospect Nijel Amos for putting Botswana on the map, at the ongoing Tokyo Olympic Games.
Amos finished first in his heat with a time of 1:45.04 this morning and booked himself a slot to the semi-finals tomorrow(August 1).
In his official Facebook account, the president said the athlete commitment and dedication even when times were hard should be a lesson and inspiration to Batswana.
“Congratulations to Nijel Amos for a sterling performance at the ongoing 2020 Tokyo Olympics. You are unstoppable Zoro. Well done champ! Go on and get that Olympic Gold!.” Reads the post.ENDS
