Batungamile no more

Veteran journalist and Department of Information Services employee, Mr Koziba Batungamile, is no more.
Mr Batungamile, who was born in 1964, succumbed to a short illness at Princess Marina Referral Hospital on Thursday morning.
The deceased’s elder brother, Mr Oliver Tapela, said in an interview that his brother complained of shortness of breath last week Tuesday.
Mr Batungamile leaves behind his wife and three children, mother as well as six siblings.
He joined the then Department of Information and Broadcasting in 1986 as an Assistant Information Officer and remained with the Department of Information Services when the two departments split.
At the time of his passing, Mr Batungamile was Chief Information Officer.
Funeral arrangements are still ongoing. Ends.
