Education office investigates incident

The Kgatleng regional education office is investigating an incident in which a video featuring a Molefhi Senior Secondary School pupil was circulated on social media.
Regional education director, Mr Mothusi James, said in an interview that they were investigating cause of the incident as well as the resultant video of a pupil rolling and screaming..
Mr James said they needed to establish what truly transpired, revealing that the incident seemed to involve four pupils, two boys and two girls, not just one, as per the video.
He said the pupils, all Form Fives, were taken for medical attention, where they were treated and discharged the same day, adding that all four were in a good condition and have since gone back to school. Ends
