Two four-year-olds missing since Saturday

Two of the three Habu children who went missing on Saturday have not yet been found.
The children, all aged four years, reportedly left home on Friday to drop their friend’s bicycle at a homestead approximately 500 metres away.
According to Gumare police station commander, Superintendent Dennis Zilawe, after handing the bicycle, the children got lost along the way.
He said after receiving a report of missing children on Saturday, the police immediately dispatched a search team of the police and Habu community.
Supt Zilawe said on the same day, the team managed to locate one of the children through foot prints 8km away.
For the remaining two children, Supt Zilawe said the search was still ongoing and they had intensified it by bringing in a police helicopter.
He said Habu outskirts were a wildlife area infested with predators, hence feared for lives of the missing children.
Ngami MP, Mr Caterpillar Hikuama said this was a sensitive and heartbreaking issue.
He therefore pleaded with Habu people to be cooperative and united during such difficult times. Ends
