23 May 2021

Member of Parliament for Letlhakane East, Mr Sethomo Lelatisitswe says B2 Engineering Services house donation to the Selei family came at an opportune time as it will enable the beneficiaries to adhere to COVID-19 protocols.

Handing over the house at Letlhakane on Friday, the Assistant Minister of Health and Wellness said the contribution would lay a strong foundation of family institution that would impact positively in the society.

“This noble gesture is propelled and guided by Vision 2016 pillar for a compassionate, just and caring nation and supported again by Vision 2036 under the pillar of human and social development, which advocates for families and spiritual well-being,” the MP said.

He said the house came at the right time during this era of the COVID- 19, where space was vital to ensure adherence to social distancing.

The area MP said apart from bringing them joy, happiness, a sense of belonging, the house also restored Ms Kelebogile Selei’s family dignity.

He said together with her children, Ms Selei would be able to identify herself with a home.

He said the house would provide a safe environment for the family’s wellbeing.

Minister Lelatisitswe said it was not the first time B2 Engineering performed a noble act as it had been doing other social responsibility projects including donating rubbish bins at most bus stops in Boteti and donating garden tools to Mokobaxane community.

B2 Engineering Services managing director, Mr Pius Wantle said their intention was to work together with other stakeholders to better the lives of people in the community, where they operated their business.

He further said it was not the last time, in extending their helping hands, as they were concerned by people’s wellbeing.

Mr Wantle said his company had been executing a number of social welfare endeavours and was happy to have seen some indications that it was moving in the right direction. Ends
