Kgosi Mantries burial tomorrow

Kgosi Joseph Mantries of Khakhea,who recently succumbed to COVID-19,will be buried in Khakhea tomorrow.
In an interview, Mabutsane district senior chief representative Kgosi Kgakgamatso Moletsane said Kgosi Mantries died on April 25 at Sir Ketumile Masire after being ill for a few days.
The memorial service was held at Khakhea kgotla on Thursday. Kgosi Moletsane underscored the need to abide by the COVID-19 protocols during the funeral.
“I know that a lot of people are interested in paying their last respect but we need to keep in mind that we are in this situation because of this pandemic.
I therefore urge attendants to ensure that they do not exceed the stipulated numbers, they keep social distance and wear masks at all times during the proceedings,” he said. ENDS
