25 Apr 2021

Acting Greater Francistown District Health Management Team coordinator, Ms Daisy Mfolwe has appreciated a donation of a laptop from High Grade Motors, saying it would assist them in compiling reports acquired from contact tracing.

Speaking during a donation ceremony, Ms Mfolwe said government relied on organisations to lend a helping hand where possible so as to provide services to Batswana.

Head of contact tracing, Ms Sekane Chikunyana said it was not easy in this era of COVID-19 to find donors and said every gift was always appreciated as it was going to enhance their daily activities.

She said at the time when they were attending to COVID-19 cases at High Grade Motor, the results took a long time to be released as a result of shortage of equipment.

“To submit reports, we had to share one computer and this laptop will assist us to improve service delivery,” she said.

Manager of High Grade Motors Ms Ookeditse Mutumba said they would continue with their donations to other entities and urged other companies to follow suite. ENDS
