WUC gets accreditation certificate

Water Utilities Corporation (WUC) was recently accredited by the Southern African Development Community Accreditation System (SADCAS) for chemical and microbiology analysis.
According to a press release from the corporation, SADCAS is a regional accreditation body which has the responsibility of servicing the accreditation needs of the Southern African Development Community (SADC) member states. The accreditation means that WUC complies with national and international standards laboratory tests.
The release also states that it increases public confidence in the services offered by WUC since accreditation is a recognizable mark of approval. SADCAS will hand over the accreditation certificate to WUC at an event scheduled for October 10 at Mmamashia Water Treatment Works. ENDS
