Botswana Bikers donate goods

Botswana Bikers over the weekend converged in Letlhakane to donate masks, sanitisers and thermometers to Supang Primary School.

Event chief organiser, Mr Samuel Letsholo said the objective was to join hands with government towards fighting COVID-19 pandemic.

He stated that  goods donated were worth P13 500 and included an automatic thermometer, four 25 litres of sanitisers, four 25 litres of hand wash soap, five boxes of masks, A4 papers and toiletries among others. Mr Letsholo indicated their intentions as Bikers was to play a critical role in ensuring that the virus was defeated. 

The masks and sanitisers, he said were crucial in curtailing virus transmission as well as overall containment.

Orapa Bikers Club President, Mr Star Seaman on the other hand said they took the decision to reach out to those in need during the trying times of COVID-19 .

Mr Seaman thanked all those who came from all corners of the country to assist the underprivileged members of society. Chief Education Officer, Ms Milidzani Nduna thanked the bikers, saying the donated goods would enable them to comply COVID-19 protocols. ENDS
