Botswana records 27 new COVID-19 deaths

Botswana has recorded 27 new COVID-19 related deaths, an increase from Thursday's report of 11 cases.

The total number of deceased people now stands at 485.

New positive cases increased from 494 to 1 744. Of the positive cases reported today, 1 741 are Batswana while three are foreign nationals.

Total confirmed cases are 35 170 with 32 550 recoveries and 2 135 active cases.Ends
