Ms Gaone Mbulawa has won a house in the Samsung Win a House 2021 competition.

The competition was a collaboration between Mascom Wireless, Cell City, and Samsung.

Speaking during a ceremony to hand over the house on Tuesday, Mascom chief marketing officer, Mr Shimboy Kgosiemang said Mascom as an indigenous local company, pride itself in changing people’s lives and had made an undertaking to reward customers for using its services.

He said Mascom strength was driven by its commitment to ensure that Batswana were well taken care of.

Mr Kgosiemang said customers appreciated services they received from the trio of  Mascom, Cell City and Samsung, hence they saw the need to collaborate and give back to the community. 

An elated Mbulawa from Tsamaya said she was blessed to have won the grand prize.

She thanked the companies for the gesture, saying the new house would ease her life. She urged people to participate in competitions.

The collaboration of Win a House competition was officially launched in October 2020 and participation was closed in February. For a customer to be part of the contest, they had to buy at one of the selected places and were randomly selected and shortlisted for the final round. Other two finalists walked away with a fridge, a TV set, a microwave oven and a phone. ENDS
