Botswana records 11 new COVID-19 deaths

Botswana has so far registered a total of 424 deaths due to COVID-19 related complications. This was an increase by 11 deaths after the Presidential COVID-19 Task Force reported a total of 413 cases on Monday.
When updating the nation on Botswana Television today (March 11), the task force's deputy coordinator, Professor Mosepele Mosepele, said the country had since March 6 registered 1 186 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the number of confirmed cases to 31 719.
In the new cases, 1 182 are Batswana and four are foreign nationals.
Botswana now has a total of 2 413 active cases while 28 882patients have recovered.ENDS
