Mochudi Rovers recently received support from four companies.

Speaking at an event to hand over donations in Pilane, club chairperson, Sugar Molefhe, said the donations included five cases of water from Lohan’s Crystal Pure Water to be given out per home-game and two mobile toilets from Art Systems Mobile Toilets.PPKESS Security offered five security personnel per home-game while Nutri Feeds donated sport equipment, nets, agility stick and a gazebo, among other things.

Molefhe said the football club intended to challenge for the championship tittle and such needed support from stakeholders.

He said Mochudi Rovers were embarking on a donate-a-brick campaign where stakeholders could donate bricks towards building a wall for the club’s football grounds in Mochudi.

For his part, Moshawana ward councillor, Wilfred Lebekwe said the donations would be of great help to the club and wished them success.

“Gone are the days when all we celebrated was goals.

It is important to also put the welfare of our players first,” he said and urged the management to work on projects would benefit the club. ENDS
