Catholic women donate hampers

Catholic women under Solidarity of St Mary, Central Deanery, have donated hampers worth P13 000 to Motswedi Day Care Centre in Mokubilo.
Central Deanery chairperson, Ms Chama Montshiwa, said the aim was to reconcile people with God by demonstrating and upholding the spirit of giving.
Ms Montshiwa stated that as solidarity of St Mary, their objective was to show humility, love and demonstrate the spirit of compassion by following on Mother Mary’s steps.
She stated that the aim was to inculcate prayer among members of the community by extending a helping hand.
The donation comprised 25 mattresses, bath soaps, toothpastes, body creams and face cloths.
Father Monnamongwe Letsatle of Holy Family called on Christians to partner with government in the fight against COVID-19 by helping underprivileged members of society.
Father Letsatle stated that they corrected their sins by donating and contributing to the development of the society.
Ms Emily Frenzel, a Catechist, commended members of St Mary for the help and in growing the church’s footprint.ENDS
