Botswana records 46 new COVID-19 deaths

A total of 300 people have died due to COVID-19 related complications. This is an increase by 46 deaths from 254 reported on Thursday.
When updating the nation today (February 22), Presidential COVID-19 Task Force deputy national coordinator, Professor Mosepele Mosepele, said the country had since February 16 registered 1 197 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the number of confirmed cases to 25 392.
In the new cases, 1 195 are Batswana and two are foreign nationals.
Botswana now has a total of 2 319 active cases while 22 773 patients have recovered.ends
