COVID-19 deaths now at 179

Botswana has so far registered a total of 179 deaths due to COVID-19 related complications.
When updating the nation today, Presidential COVID-19 Task Force deputy coordinator, Professor Mosepele Mosepele, said the country had also registered 932 new COVID-19 cases bringing to 22 165 the total number of confirmed cases.
In the new cases, 892 were Batswana while 40 were foreign nationals.
Botswana now has a total of 1 444 active cases while 20 542 patients have recovered. BOPA
