 Clinics in the Takatokwane Constituency offer comprehensive services although they operate in structures that were originally built as health posts, Minister of Health and Wellness, Dr Edwin Dikoloti has said. Dr Dikoloti, who was answering a question in Parliament, explained that the clinics had been refurbished over the years including addition of some buildings.

He said upgrading of Maboane Health Post structure was currently ongoing with financing from Debswana.

The Minister noted that the infrastructure upgrade for some health facilities in Takatokwane Constituency, which were planned under NDP 11, had been limited by budgetary constraints.Member of Parliament for Takatokwane, Mr Tshganetso Leuwe had asked the minister if he was aware that clinics in his constituency were operating in structures originally built as health posts. He also wanted to know when upgrading would be done to accommodate clinic operations. ends
