Mahalapye registers COVID-19 case in Kalamare

Mahalapye District Health Management Team has registered a COVID-19 case at Kalamare village.
A press release from the DHMT says contract tracing is currently ongoing ‘and full communication on the number of cases will be given by the relevant authorities.’
“We would also like to encourage the public to keep calm and give health officials an opportunity to manage the situation.
The utmost cooperation from the community is very vital as it will assist in containing the spread of COVID-19 in the district,” adds the release.
The DHMT appeals to the community to minimise movements and continue adhering to the COVID-19 protocols. ends
