Youth entrepreneurs in the Kweneng District are encouraged to register for youth business chapter membership.

This follows the ongoing roll out exercise of the business chapter initiative by the Ministry of Youth Empowerment, Sport and Culture Development.

A press release from the MYSC Kweneng District office says the youth business chapter initiative is a consultative platform which aims to promote youth entrepreneurship, engagement and networking opportunities.

The initiative, it says also aims at setting up a formal structure for engagement of youth entrepreneurs.

Again, it says the youth business chapter initiative is a non-profit making and voluntary platform for exchange of ideas or skills, learning and experiences by youth in business.

Membership for the business chapter initiative is open to all youth entrepreneurs residing and operating in the district and registration is open from September 28 until October 30 in all the ministry’s offices across the Kweneng District.

Further, the release says members of the business chapter will elect an executive committee consisting 12 members after registration exercise has been concluded. Ends
