Bank of Baroda has donated P30 000 to Tsogang Trust Orphanage and Mogoditshane Junior Secondary Schools.

When receiving the donation recently, Mogoditshane MP, Mr Tumiso Rakgare, applauded the bank for its generous gesture.

“The P15 000 donation to Tsogang Trust comes at the right time when all of us are challenged with COVID-19 and I believe it will go a long way in ensuring that some of their needs are met,” he said.

He appreciated the P15 000 donation towards Mogoditshane Junior Secondary School’s fund.

Mr Rakgare, who is also the Minister of Youth Empowerment, Sport and Culture Development, stated that he had set up a fund that would assist schools in his constituency to come up with various initiatives that would benefit pupils.

“Bank of Baroda is the first organisation to make a donation for the fund and I applaud them for that,” he said.

For his part, Bank of Baroda managing director, Mr Kumar Singh said they found it fit to make a meaningful contribution to the society. Mr Singh thanked the minister for awarding his bank an opportunity to visit the constituency and uplift the community. Ends
