 Kgosi Oscar Mosielele has hailed Mr Norman Matlalo for sourcing food hampers worth P65 000 from the private sector to assist some needy residents of Moshupa and surrounding areas.

When receiving the donation on behalf of his subjects recently Kgosi Mosielele said Mr Matlalo’s gesture resonated with a timeless Setswana tradition of giving to the needy in times of need.

Kgosi Mosielele urged other capable Moshupa residents to also find ways to help the needy.

Moshupa subordinate council deputy chairperson Mr Obakeng Modisaotsile also applauded the donors being Mr Mohammed Dada, Other Options and the 4Ms Group Holdings for the kind gesture.

 Mr Modisaotsile said he was particularly happy that a deliberate decision was taken to purchase the food items within Moshupa. 

This, he said was congruent with government’s spirit of rural development.

Mr Matlalo for his part thanked the donors for supporting his cause. He said the donation was intended to reach 120 people within Moshupa catchment area. Ends
