Kgaphamadi Primary School recently donated toiletry to Ghanzi Primary Hospital’s paediatric ward.

Speaking during a donation ceremony recently, Ghanzi DHMT coordinator, Mr Conrad Ntsuape, said the donation would go a long way in helping those admitted and give them hope.

Mr Ntsuape said it was inspirational to witness pupils donating, saying they would grow up embracing the spirit of giving and be a model for others.

Kgaphamadi senior teacher; guidance and counseling, Mr Boitshwarelo Magonono, said like any other institution, they had to fulfill their corporate social responsibility, particularly during trying times of the COVID-19 pandemic. Mr Magonono said the donation was from pupils and staff, who found it befitting to donate to the paediatric ward patients because they considered them a major stakeholder.

He said the ward was closer to their hearts because it was where pupils could be admitted.

In her remarks, Ghanzi Primary Hospital’s nursing superintendent, Ms Goratileone Rapitse hailed Kgaphamadi Primary School for the gesture, saying it would come handy. ENDS
