Accidents claim three lives

Two men aged between 33 and 43 lost their lives when their vehicle hit a stationary police car opposite Prisons Department along Molepolole-Letlhakeng road early September 8 morning.
Molepolole Police Station Commander Superintendent Motlhaba Ramaabjwa confirmed the accident in an interview.
He said the vehicle, a Toyota Run-X model, was suspected to have veered off the road and hit a police car which had two officers on board who sustained minor injuries.
Superintendent Ramaabjwa said there were four people in the Run-X and one of the passengers had been admitted at Scottish Livingstone Hospital while the other sustained minor injuries and was discharged.
It is reported that one of the deceased was a police constable stationed at Serinane settlement.
In a separate incident, a 21-year-old man of Maribana ward in Molepolole died on Saturday along Kopong-Lentsweletau road after the vehicle he was driving overturned.
Superintendent Ramaabjwa could not provide additional details as the investigations were at an early stage. ENDS
